Faux Real...
As a wedding favor, this couple recorded three of their favorite song covers (doing all the cheesy instrumentals and vocals themselves!) and burned cds for the guests, using designs from Steep Street for slip covers on each album. Each cd was titled 'Faux Real', to give a sense of their playfulness in general, a hint what the wedding would be like, and a way to describe the art pieces that they’re living in together. {via Once Wed}10.06.2009

Held at a friend of the couple's home in Palm Beach, the simplicity and beautiful colors were what caught my eye for Sam and Jon's Wedding that took place a few years ago. The bride wore a dress by Lara Helen Atelier and the bridesmaids dressed were designed byAmy Smilovic of TIBI. The Groomsmen wore Stubbs & Wootton shoes, Paul Stewart pants and Vineyard Vines' ties. Ann Z designed a tier of cupcakes that was elegant and lovely!

Vintage Lemon & Lace...

Creative couple Pernel & Aaron had a vintage inspired wedding. I just adore the table themes and colors! Each of the scalloped paper table names was titled after something yellow and were placed among the centerpieces. Sunny Day, Buttercup, Happy Face, Lemondrop and Buttercream. Each plate was also placed with a lemon and tied with ribbon and a tag that read, "Pucker up". They gathered vintage elements of Hobnail milk glass and Jadite for the tables to bring the mint color. {via Amorology}Peachy Bouquets...

If you've seen the film In Her Shoes, you probably remember the beautiful poem read at the end in the wedding scene. I Carry Your Heart in My Heart, by EE Cummings is one of my favorites. I think the ceremony is such a special time to pause and reflect and I have loved attending weddings where non-traditional vows or readings are more personal and reflect the couples personality.
